Fresh Film Fest International festival of First Features and Student Films organizes open air walks trough evening Czech Towns and student film creation. First Prague Fresh Film Walk starts on July 7th at the National Theatre's Nová scéna.
3 STUDENT FILMS PREMIERED INTERNATIONALLY AT THE 44TH KVIFF
Three promising woman directors will open their films internationally at the 44th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival as a part of the Fresh Selection curated by the Fresh Film Fest: The Numb by Israeli director Bar Hadas, Wüste/Aussen/Tag by German director Mia Grau and Nejlepší playbacková zpěvačka by Czech director Jitka Rudolfová have also confirmed their presence at the Festival.
Following to the non-competitive Karlovy Vary IFF programme, the films are taking part in the 6th Fresh Film Fest Official Selection In Competition.

30 YEARS LONG TRADITION
A 30 year-old tradition links the cultural centre of Western Bohemia, the spa town of Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary), to the student and young cinema. The Hotel Thermal Festival Centre, nowadays regarded as an architectural classic, has been built especially to fit the demands of an international film festival.
NISI MASA launches the 8th European Script Contest! If you are between 18 and 28 years old and live in one of the 19 countries of the network, you can write a short script (20 000 characters) about "TABOO" until the 31st of July 2009.
